HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE?

It typically takes 3-5 sessions. We will guarantee any touch ups needed within one year of the service.

HOW LONG BETWEEN SESSIONS?

Sessions can be booked 7 days apart or longer.

CAN I MAKE PAYMENTS?

Payments can be split up between 3 sessions with 0% interest, or you can apply for 12 monthly payments.

 

WILL IT FADE?

After 4-5 years you will have the choice to let the SMP fade back into natural, or have a quick touch up to maintain the look. A touch up would cost approx. $500. (Every 4-5 years).

HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION TAKE?

Each session takes approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the area.

IS IT LIKE A REGULAR TATTOO?

SMP is only deposited into the very top layer of the skin, unlike a traditional tattoo that is deposited 5-7 sublayers deep.

IS IT PAINFUL?

The process is very gentle, some clients fall asleep and say it's relaxing. Some say it's a 2 out of 10 on a pain scale. Much less painful than a regular tattoo.

IS THERE RECOVERY TIME?

There is no bleeding, scabbing or scarring. You will feel back to normal just one hour after the service.

WHAT IS THE AFTER CARE?

For best results, you will be advised to leave the treated area clean and dry for 3 days after the service, and then you can get back to your normal routine of shampooing, exercising etc.

You can give it a good rinse with water 3 hours after the service to clean any excess ink and debris before leaving it for the 3 days.

WHAT TYPE OF PIGMENT DO YOU USE?

The pigment shade we use is customized for your hair and skin type. We use a vegan, carbon black with a touch of brown for soft, realistic, natural results that don't change color over time.

 

WILL IT WORK ON GREY HAIR?

Yes. Many of our clients have grey or salt and pepper hair. Our pigment is grey scale so we can match your grey hair colour, or create depth under the hair and frame the face.
